14.7 is a random configuration of seven 14 pendants hung from a round canopy. The pendants are designed to hang in a random configuration, resulting in an ambient chandelier or filed of light. 14 is an articulated, seamed cast glass sphere with a frosted cylindrical void that houses either a low-voltage xenon or LED lamp. Individual pendants are visually quite subtle, but gain an atmospheric quality when multiplied and clustered in groups. 14 allows for a variety of compositional possibilities, ranging from ambient to punctuated dense clusters in specific high profile locations.

14.7 uses strain relief connections, which allow the pendant lengths to be adjusted on site. Round, brushed-nickel canopy comes standard with 10' feet of coaxial cable. Additional cable lengths are available in increments of 10' feet, up to a maximum of 100' feet in special applications.

Bocci Creative Director Omer Arbel explores the intrinsic mechanical, physical, and chemical qualities of materials as fundamental departure points for making work. Bocci recommends mounting transformers remotely in a close, accessible and hidden location for ease of long term maintenance. Installation to be done by certified electrician to ensure code compliance. Canopy attaches directly to a standard junction box. Unless otherwise specified, one transformer is sent for every 5 grouping of pendants.
