Liuku is a contemporary pendant lamp designed by Finnish designer Maija Puoskari. Liuku is consisting of a colored mouth-blown glass shade nestling over an FSC-certified linden wood base in two different shapes. Liuku's shade is available with clear glass or in two beautiful tones of smoke or violet gradient. Additionally, the wooden base can be used on it's own as a single pendant, or to create a rows and clusters for both residential and commercial environments.

The Finnish designer Maija Puoskari graduated from the Aalto University of Helsinki in 2009. Before her design studies Puoskari had already graduated as a florist. Her background often draws inspiration from nature while her work is characterized by a strong sense of pure form mixed with functionality and precise finishing. She works widely with various design and exhibition projects. Puoskari has been awarded several grants and prizes, and her work has been shown in many national and international collection exhibitions and fairs.
