Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec have expanded the Alcove product family with the addition of Alcove Plume, a low-slung sofa with an emphasis on casual comfort. The thick, plush look of the Alcove Plume seat cushions is matched by their superlative comfort. Though softly padded, they provide adequate support so that sitters do not sink in too deeply. Combined with the quilted side and back panels - a hallmark feature of the entire Alcove family - and the pointed loose cushions, they create a cosy and restful nest. Alcove Plume offers an inviting place to put up your feet and relax in its soft upholstery.

The two brothers, Ronan and Erwan, have been working together since 1999. Their collaboration is a constant dialogue, nourished by their single identities and strived towards a common goal. Today, the Bouroullec brothers work with numerous manufacturers such as Vitra, Cappellini, Issey Miyake, Magis, Ligne Roset, Habitat and the Kréo Gallery. They were named "Creator of the Year" in 2002, elected "designer of the year" in 2003 and have won multiple other awards. Their creations have been exhibited in many collective or solo exhibitions and are part of some permanent museum collections around the world.

The Alcove Plume 2-seat sofa includes two matching backrest cushions. Optional set of 2 armrest & 2 small backrest cushions also available. The frame, supporting structure and legs are polished chrome tubular steel.
