The Companions family of furniture is designed to support daily life. Companions Bed, made from solid wood, is reassuringly familiar but carefully detailed. Designed by Studioilse and manufactured by De La Espada for the Studioilse brand.

The timber is sustainably harvested and the farms are methodically cared for, ensuring exceptionally strong planks of the highest quality. Mortise and tenon joints, dovetailing and lap joints combined with slow-drying wood glue that seeps deep into the fibres of the solid wood create strong, unbreakable bonds adding long life to every piece of furniture.

Ilse Crawford heads the design company Studioilse alongside her brand consultancy. Companions bed is Available in American black walnut, American white oak, or European Ash in a range of finishes. Copper feet. Bed base consists of several individual timber slats, set approximately 5cm (2") apart. Mattress & bedding not included. Assembly required.
