The Sonar chair is a stunning marriage of polished chrome and bent wood or upholstery. As a stacking chair with more substance than a typical stacking chair, Sonar is practical for people with small spaces who don’t want to sacrifice design for function.

The firm of Lievore was founded in Barcelona in 1991 by Alberto Lievore, Jannette Altherr and Manel Molina. Focusing on product design, consultancy and art direction, the Studio offers personalized design solutions to industry. Known for its furniture design, Lievore Altherr Molina also develops interiors, packaging and product designs. In many opportunities, the Studio gives seminars and courses cooperating with several Spanish universities in forming new professionals.

Sonar features a polished chrome or black frame with a wood (maple or zebrano) seat & back. It stacks 6 high and is Level 1 & Greenguard certified. Sonar is also available with an upholstered seat and back.
