The Tolomeo wall shade offers direct and diffused lighting with wall support, joints, canopy and arm in polished die-cast aluminum. The shade is available in your choice of parchment paper or pale grey satin and polycarbonate fiber blend. Adjusts to full downward and max 30° upward positions. Wall junction box for direct mounting to standard electrical junction box. The diffuser remains vertical regardless of arm angle, with incorporated on/off switch on lampholder.
Michele De Lucchi was born in 1951 in Ferrara and graduated in architecture in Florence. During the period of radical and experimental architecture he was a prominent figure in movements like Cavart, Alchymia and Memphis. De Lucchi has designed lamps and furniture for well known Italian and European companies. The firm's philosophy is rooted in the search for deep interaction between architectural thinking, industrial design and global communication.
