Fritz Hansen is presenting the ultimate sofa for the private home: Alphabet, designed by Italian Piero Lissoni. Alphabet is an exclusive modular sofa with endless options in terms of colors and combinations. Whether for a small room or a very large space, Alphabet will fit in perfectly - adding an elegant touch to the living room.

Italian Piero Lissoni is a designer and architect with a degree from the Polytechnico of Milan. In 1986 Lissoni founded the Studio Lissoni. Since then Piero Lissoni has worked with a dense list of design brands, such as Boffi, Cassina, Kartell, Living Divani and Flos on a wide diversity of designs of furniture and lighting. He's inspired by many different elements but also designers such as Danish Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjærholm.

With the soft building blocks you can design your own sofa. There are 7 modular elements to the sofa; the seats, backrests, armrest and 3 loose cushions all resting on dark grey synthetic glides. The elements can be put together in an endless variety of combinations and angles and are available with leather or fabric upholstery. Loose cushion shown in pictures are not included but can be ordered separately. Extra loose cushions and different upholstery colors can be combined in the same sofa.
