The AJ wall lamp was designed, among other lighting fixtures, for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The AJ wall lamp creates direct and angled illumination. The lighting characteristics make it suitable when placed in a situation where distinct and direct illumination is required. The head can be rotated 60 degrees.
The standard lamp consists of a lampholder in an enameled pipe. A tilting mechanism has been installed in the pipe. Using a clear incandescent bulb the light is exploited the best way and the the light rays delineated precisely.
Arne Jacobsen was very productive both as an architect and as a designer. His cooperation with Fritz Hansen dates back to 1934. The Ant and Series 7 chairs, produced in 1952, propelled both Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen's names into furniture history. At the end of the 50's Arne Jacobsen designed the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, which introduced the Egg, the Swan, the Swan sofa and Series 3300 to the design world. Arne Jacobsen was and is an admired and outstanding designer. His furniture and other design work have become a national and international heritage.
Available in your choice of a variety of colors. AJ wall lamp can only be hard-wired to a standard electrical junction box. On/off switch on wall plate. AJ wall is also offered in an LED version as the AJ 50 Wall.
