An archival design from 1941, Mogens Lassen's foldable Jäger Lounge Table is reissued to a modern audience. Its name comes from the merchant for which it was created, and its design is inspired by the folding stools and beds found in Tutankhamen's Egyptian tomb. Shaped from wood, brass fittings detail the iconic piece of Danish design. The table also features a brass plaque engraved with a unique serial number.

Considered one of Denmark's greatest and most influential architects, Mogens Lassen pioneered Danish Functionalism, taking his cues from Bauhaus sensibilities. His interior designs are a natural continuation of his architectural approach and add energy and atmosphere to everyday living spaces and tasks. He created works rooted in cubist architectural ideals inspired by Le Corbusier. Lassen's designs showcased his ability to express ideas through diverse materials. His simple, functional wooden furniture, like the folding Egyptian Table, have gone on to become furniture classics, while his 1930s works in steel continue to serve as original examples of the innovations of international modernism.
