"The seed of Chandigarh is well sown."
- Le Corbusier
The Projecteur Lamp by Le Corbusier was designed for the Chandigarh High Court, India, in 1954. Together with his cousin, Pierre Jeanneret, they transformed the complex in Chandigarh into a masterful example of International Style architecture and design. Everything down to the smallest details were designed by Le Corbusier including the light fixtures used throughout.
The Projecteur Lamp is an excellent example of Le Corbusier's pragmatic approach to design.
