The Lan collection is a design by Chinese studio Neri&Hu. Lan is offered in a natural as well as an indigo tone from which the series originally takes its name -Lan means blue in Mandarin. Made with a base of Glaoui fabric, the great appeal of these pieces lies in their eclectic ornamentation, which alternates checkered patterns, hand-embroidered, with linear motifs of different textures and volumes.

After graduating as architects from the University of Berkeley, California, Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu continued their training at Harvard and Princeton, respectively. They first worked for several architecture studios, coinciding in the office of Michael Graves. In 2004, they founded their own studio in Shanghai, the Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, with an additional design practice in London. They work internationally in interdisciplinary projects of architecture and interior design, furniture design, lighting and decorative accessories. Their proposals are characterized by a need to revitalize traditional elements or handcrafted productions, something clearly visible in their collaboration with GAN.

The Lan collection is an original and different design, available in four sizes, including a runner version.
