The Emotional footprint. A simple household item kickstarted the design process of the Aura wall lamp. This decorative lamp, which provides outstanding light while turn on but stands out beautifully while off as well, was inspired by the traditional glass carafe, a mainstay of households the world over.

The Aura follows an emotional design, because of what glass means in the collective memory, as well as a rational and contemporary design because it draws on LED technology to achieve efficiency and subtlety. The opalescent, transparent, or colored glass of its lampshade allows the light to bathe the wall and creates a luminous effect without harshness, while also generating a point of interest in the space.

The design of the Aura is rooted in our culture. It leaves an emotional footprint, a true indication of its intention to stand the test of time and become one of those companionable objects that brings life to a house, that winks with complicity when we walk by or enjoy its light.

Aura features a polycarbonate structure and dissipater in lacquered aluminum with a blown glass lampshade. Includes a white plate and dissipater for white version and black plate and dissipater for all other finishes. It is recommended that this lamp is to be hardwired to a standard electric junction box by a licensed electrician.
